Social Life

Finally, not all our activities are women-only! The Social Committee plans co-ed and family activities several times a year. In past years, the club met at the ballpark to cheer on the Durham Bulls for 'Cinco de Mayo.' The WWC Board organized 'Sundae in the Middle of the Week,' an ice cream social for members and their families. Seasonal parties are always in the works.

And, of course, our monthly meetings provide an opportunity to socialize and get to know the club members better. Last year, we had one meeting dedicated to discussion of club member travel adventures... some members contribued personal travel photos for display at the meeting and others joined in the discussion at the meeting. This event provided a great opportunity for club members to get to know one another better in a casual setting.
