Holiday Auction
In late November or early December, the club holds its annual Holiday Auction. This lively event is usually hosted in the Woodcroft Community Room (Suite K) or a member's home. Guests bid on donated items, crafts, baked goods, and services (babysitting services are always a hit when auctioned). A club member serves as "emcee" for the evening. Holiday decorations and refreshments add to a very festive evening of holiday "shopping" and socializing.

Neighborhood Yard Sale
The Woodcroft Women's Club teams up with Jordan High School to hold a neighborhood yard sale each spring. It is a great opportunity to sell old treasures and shop for great bargains. While the school generously provides its parking lot, the WWC sells spaces to members of the community wishing to set up a table. The nominal fee for a double parking space goes to the club for its fund-raising coffers; beyond that, sale participants keep 100 percent of their sales. The WWC also sponsors a White Elephant Table and a concession stand, and arranges for pick-up of unsold items at the end of the sale.

Durham Crisis Response Center
Beginning in 2006, the ladies of the Woodcroft Women's Club have been collecting donations for the Durham Crisis Response Center. The shelter provides a safe place for women and children of domestic or sexual violence.

Food Bank of Durham
Beginning in 2006, the members of the Woodcroft Women's Club have volunteered their time once every other month at the Food Bank of Durham. The Food Bank benefits many organizations and individuals throughout Central and Eastern North Carolina.

Adopt-a-Trail
The Woodcroft Women's Club meets monthly to clean a section of the Tobacco trail that runs through Woodcroft and neighboring communities. The women of our club are very focused on keeping our area beautiful and inviting to nature lovers. Thank you to all the responsible trail users for keeping Durham beautiful!
