Got some spare time?

In 2010, in addition to giving part of the annual fundraising profits to Genesis Home, we also adopted two suites to prepare for new families. The club members went shopping and donated bedding and bath linens as well as cleaning supplies and toiletries. Then we spent a couple of Saturdays cleaning and painting the rooms, and decorating them so that the new families would feel welcome.

Peggy Fee is making duvet (comforter) covers for Genesis Home and is in need of flat bed sheets so she can make more. King sized sheets are preferred but she will accept anything you might have.

Cindy Streett and Wendy Lindberg put the finishing touches on the remodeling project undertaken last year at the Genesis Home.

We have also helped Genesis Home with some administrative work and volunteered to assist them in some of their own fundraisers.

There are many volunteer activities waiting to be done, so volunteer if you have time!
