FRIENDLY NEIGHBOR PROGRAM FOR ALTA WALK

Our newest group is a volunteer Friendly Neighbor Program for Alta Walk with visits to the 20 assisted living residents who are in dependent care. A few volunteers have started already. Only a few volunteers have made a big difference! So if we can get more of our members signed on for visiting, reading, pet therapy, or anything you can think of to offer your time and talent, we would make an even bigger impact.

ALTA WALK would love to have us help decorate for Christmas and do some holiday sing-a-longs after Thanksgiving. The Director and I also discussed sharing Christmas gifts with the 20 residents. Please let me know if you would like to help out with any of these Christmas activities. You do not have to join as a regular volunteer to help.

Some Moms and Tots went Trick or Treating at Alta Walk on Saturday 10/29 and had lots of fun! The little characters had almost as much fun getting candy as the seniors did passing it out!
